Caged Fish Farming

Karoun 4 dam, located in Chahar-Mahal & Bakhtiari province in south west of Iran has been constructed on Karoun River, the longest river in Iran. The good quality of the potable water behind this great dam has provided specific opportunities for agricultural purposes and fish farming. ATA Co., having taken into account this potential opportunity, started a pilot plan for caged fish farming in the year 2009 to provide some considerable employment within this deprived region and got to satisfactory results.
